Challenge
The Arthritis Foundation, Mid-Atlantic Region presented BB&T CEO Kelly King a life-time achievement award for his dedication to community service. Initially, the Foundation requested that BB&T, among the nation’s top ten largest financial holding companies, provide a tribute video for the awards event that outlined King’s many accomplishments. Instead, Kelly King requested that Contrast Creative produce a video that focused on a BB&T employee living with arthritis.
Results
This Contrast Creative production was originally slated to recognize Kelly King’s altruism in the community, but instead, at King’s request, the video focused on living with arthritis as told by 31-year BB&T Bank veteran, Sandy Clark. Clark’s compelling story, as shared through in-depth interviews with family, co-workers and Clark herself, embodies the attitude that Kelly King encourages all BB&T employees to demonstrate daily – EPA or an Enthusiastic Positive Attitude.
