One of the key missions of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is raising money for scientific research capable of improving the lives of women battling cancer. Contrast Creative developed a series of videos for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund strategically designed to help to educate,engage and motivate donors. In this video, we aimed to tell the story of a patient and a research team who benefitted from a KYCF Designated Grant.
Contrast Creative produced a KYCF research video that featured a $1 million research grant awarded to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The UNC cancer research team is studying the impact of physical activity on biomarkers of aging and body composition among breast cancer survivors who are 65 and older. The research project is being conducted as a national, multi-site collaboration. This video is being promoted through a number of digital marketing channels. It captured a GOLD 2016 Cancer Awareness Advertising Award for excellence in cancer awareness marketing and advertising.
